Information |
Description: Archer is my personal horse and is 15hh and 1500 lbs, healthy, and just generally perfect. He is extremely sweet, dog gentle, friendly, calm, and just generally laid back. He is broke for riding, driving both single and double, and has been used extensively as a mountain horse both for carrying hunters and for packing out wild game. Unfortunately Archer is not sound to ride due to being started too young and too hard. Archer is NOT available for purchase or adoption. History:Archer is a Shire Paint cross and was bred by a PMU farm in North Dakota before he was pulled by a group in Colorado. A beef ranching operation bought him from Colorado and used them in Castle Rock and Bridgeport, OR to herd cows. When the ranch went belly up he was sold to a family who trained him to drive and to log, but his primary use was as a dude horse for a hunting string.
